The laminate does not bubble or crack over time and is scratch resistant, which is the case with most plastic tournament chessboards. Offset printing make the board color crisp and clear. Although not noticeable, the edge of the chessboard is a few centimeter smaller. Therefore the chessboard fits better when space is cramped on a tournament or in a cupboard. Inside the chessboard is a light but stiff cardboard used, making the chessboards easily transportable. The lamination makes the chessboards water resistant and easily cleanable. The chessboard is made of the environmental friendly materials PE and cardboard.
